Dr Farag is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Gosford on the Central Coast.

Dr Farag provided a full range of obstetric care to women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. His practice offers an innovative model of private Obstetric care both for routine and high risk pregnancies.

Dr Farag aims to provide first class service to his customers and a flexible approach to family centred care. He endeavours to support childbirth choices and personalise birthing experiences as much as possible.

He works in conjunction with couples to facilitate a successful and happy birth process. Natural births are supported including vaginal twin births, and external cephalic version for breech presentations at term.

Dr Farag also performs operative obstetrics including instrumental deliveries and caesarean sections. Dr Farag sees his role as not only helping you to achieve your aims, but also to ensure that you and your baby are delivered in the safest possible way. Pregnancy is associated with many changes to your body and lifestyle and you will be inundated with information.

There are many available sources of information including books and pamphlets. Antenatal classes and Calm Birth classes are encouraged. They will help to orientate you to the hospital and the maternity unit and area valuable way to help you and your partner prepare for the birth of your baby and for parenthood.

If you have any questions it is often helpful to write them down and discuss them at your first visit. Partners and family members are more than welcome to accompany you to these visits.

Dr Farag has two receptionists, a practice manager, midwives and two sonographers employed in his practice.
